An evopro charger was inaugurated during the Bátaszék Wine Days, so it is now possible to charge electric vehicles in this town of Tolna county, too. Bátaszék received a special prize of HUF 1 million from evopro because it signed up the most people for the National Wine Marathon in 2016, an event that promotes Hungarian wines, the Hungarian countryside and Hungarian sports.
The charging station has a Type2 connector and a Type2 charging gun. It has a charging capacity of 22kW, and charging starts as soon as the cable is connected. The freely available charging station was ceremonially handed over to the public by Dr. Róbert Bozsolik, Mayor of Bátaszék, and by Gábor Felegyi, cabinet head of the evopro group. The town’s management hopes that more and more people will choose the environmentally-conscious drive, and they will now be able to use the newly inaugurated electric rapid charging station when arriving at Bátaszék.
