Our colleagues at evopro Systemtest have presented technology showcasing the operation of a 3D mechanical engineering model at the PLM Users Conference and also at the Mach-Tech international exhibition.

Thanks to an invitation of GraphIT the team at evopro Systemtest had an opportunity to present virtual commissioning technology at the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) conference that was held in Visegrád on May 9-10, 2013.

The topic of the two-day event was the introduction of new technologies in the PLM market. During the software presentations (Solid Edge, NX, Teamcenter, Tecomatix) the participants got a comprehensive overview about various areas of product lifecycle management. Gábor Kozó, test and project leader at evopro Systemtest Ltd., have presented a virtual commissioning service to the PLM users that was based on a 3D mechanical engineering model designed in NX Mechatronics Concept Designer. What's new about this solution is that the engineering model can be coupled with an actual industrial controller, which makes it possible to test and simulate every phase of the commissioning.

The virtual commissioning technology of evopro was presented again on May 24-31 at the Mach-Tech international exhibition which was attended by over 14,000 professionals. The presentation was held as part of the interactive Application Zone section which was an expansion of the Mach-Tech and Industry Automation exhibitions.
