On September 3, 2014 Dr. Zsolt Szepessy, department manager of evopro Innovation Ltd. – who was one of the representatives of 66 Hungarian companies in attendance – has received the trophy and the certificate of quality given to the winners of this year's Hungarian Quality Product Award® during a ceremony held in the Hungarian Parliament's Upper House Hall. In addition, the company has also received a special award from the Hungarian Electro-technical Association.
The goal of the Hungarian Quality Product Award® Tender – which was held for the 17th time this year – is to recognize companies whose products or services are of exceptional quality, where innovation and exports play a key role in the production and sales of those products, the latter of which is also a basis for creating new jobs. The winners are entitled to use the trademark of the Hungarian Quality Product Award® free of charge on their products and services for one year.
Dr. Roland Mengyi, vice president of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly of Hungary has presented the award to evopro Innovation Ltd. for the creation of their dynamic railway diagnostics system called eRDM. Attached to the railroad tracks the award-winning product measures the actual wheel, axle and wagon load of passing trains, and with its help several vehicle diagnostic parameters can be calculated that can improve the speed, effectiveness, and safety of railway freight transport.
Besides receiving the Hungarian Quality Product Award®, the Hungarian Electro-technical Association also awarded a special prize to evopro Innovation Ltd., emphasizing the solutions and innovations used in the product's development that are unique in its category.
Thanks to the unrelenting work of its employees, the eRDM is one of the innovative products that contribute significantly to the bottom line of the company group. After a lengthy tender the diagnostic system will be added to an additional 28 railway points, which should fill the employees of evopro with pride – especially after winning these awards.
